Program Time-table & Details

The biennial CSME forum, the flagship conference of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering, will be held in Victoria, June 7 – 9, 2010.

The purpose of the Forum is to facilitate networking, as well as to disseminate research results and new technologies among universities, industry, government agencies, and R&D laboratories.

The three day conference will unfold in five parallel sessions with many Symposia, special sessions and student design competition. A general assembly and keynote session starts in the morning of Monday, June 7th. The conference will feature a Reception at the Royal BC Museum on Monday June 7th; Conference Banquet at the Crystal Garden of the Victoria Conference Centre on Wednesday June 9th; and optional social events on Tuesday evening. On-site registration and special meetings starts in the afternoon on Sunday, June 6.

A number of technical Symposia and special sessions will be organized with details posted at the conference website. Additional Symposia and special sessions are welcome.

The annual CSME Student Design Competition will be held at the conference.
